Our spring 2007 field season focused on the village areas at Etowah. We started a multi-year effort to map the entire site using a Bartington fluxgate gradiometer. So far we have collected 10.8 hectares (26.7 acres) with the mag and been successful locating many structures - several of which are arranged around plazas.
