Geophysical work on the summit of Mound A has been the most successful area of the site so far. We have collected data with a Geoscan Research FM36 fluxgate gradiometer, RM15 resistivity meter, a GSSI SIR 2000 ground penetrating radar, and a GeoMetrics 858 cesium magnetometer.
Here are some images from a paper that was recently presented by Robert Sharp - and co-authored by several members of our research team - at the 2006 Southeastern Archaeological Conference in Little Rock, Arkansas.
